The British government is prepared to move forward with utilizing the full worth of immobilized Russia's assets to aid the Ukrainian defense operations, Leader Sir Keir Starmer has declared.

In a joint statement, the officials of the Britain, France, and the Federal Republic of Germany stated that this coordinated action would escalate tension on Russian President Vladimir Putin and persuade Russia to come to the table.

They added that the move would be executed in tight collaboration with the America.

United Kingdom restrictions have immobilized in excess of £25bn of Russian resources since Russia launched its comprehensive attack against Ukraine in 2022. However, up to this point, money allocated to Ukraine using Russia's funds had solely been taken from gains and dividends accrued on them.

Sir Keir informed Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky that the Britain, the French Republic, and the Federal Republic of Germany were aligned in their goal to push forward toward employing the complete amount of the seized Moscow's national assets to halt hostilities.

He noted that additional measures over the next period would heighten the tension on Moscow.

This statement is subsequent to EU leaders convened in the Danish capital last week to debate utilizing seized Russia's assets for a 140-billion-euro loan to the Ukrainian nation.

Last month, US President Donald Trump called on Group of Seven partners to confiscate or utilize frozen Russian holdings, as reported by reports.

The total of frozen Russian funds in the European Union is calculated to be approximately €211bn.

Moscow carried out extensive bombardments all over the Ukrainian territory on Friday, resulting in power cuts in large parts of the capital city, Kyiv, and several other zones.

Two people were lost their lives and no fewer than 20 people were injured in the assault, authorities in Ukraine reported.

In a message on social media following the attack, Zelensky stated that the cynical and calculated attack aimed at public and utility structures.

"The necessity is not just talk but firm measures - from the America, the European Union, and the Group of Seven - in delivering anti-aircraft weapons and applying sanctions," he stated.

"All penalty impositions undermines the Russian war effort," Zelensky noted, in a different message.

Also on Friday, Zelensky told media outlets he would press Sir Keir to join the PURL program, under which Nato countries acquire military equipment from the America to give to Ukraine.

While commending the UK's firm backing for Ukraine, he said it should send a clear signal that it would take part in the system, as well as apply further measures on Moscow.
